I went to the embassy to ask about mine. They are all lazy crooks, they will just make an excuse and screw you off.
Its better to go to a lawyer. If you don't have any name issues then maybe you can do it yourself.
Yes before ninety sixty or fifty eight something baptism is accepted and with baptism you can apply for birth cert if not teor.

Is there a sort of waiting list for nationality applications at the consulate? Do you think I should apply through the consulate or through an agent?
I have my fathers baptism cert which is fine for the marriage registration. I want to find his birth teor and goa baptism registration to see if i can register my father instead of mother because i don't want to have to correct names.
Can we personally go through the transcription book?
