55 OFWs badly need help. they were held hostage at the ibn sina polyclinic for 1 night but they were freed afterwards. They really want to go home , but they dont know whom to contact. Pls. extend help ASAP bec. they dont know were to go. they want to go to the border but it will take around 6 hrs and they don't know if it is safe to travel since most of them are women.

I got a response from my sister this morning. who working in Central Hospital - Tripoli Libya. she is safe and in normal working hours. to those with relatives in the same Hospital.. all Filipinos there are in safe condition and working normal hours. so dont worry our Embassy is there to help our kababayan in Tripoli Libya. Again Thank Very Much to Mr. Vic who called my sister, now my 87yrs old Mother is happy to hear the GOOD news from my sister Angelina. MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO.. Documents Not Yet Prepared!!!
We are only asking the documents, Evacuation Order from embassy tripoli, coz according to DFA Manila it is ready and advisory notice already implemented. But unfortunately, according to them its not yet prepared..?! Please do as soon as possible..coz our compnay Hyundai awaiting this document.. Please lng po.. Urgent!!!

Inip na sa Mabagal na Paglilikas samin
narito po kami sa SARIR, 500kms frm benghazi. Ready na po kami pero di makaalis, kasi kung ano-ano pang kelangan hintayin mula sa embassy. ano bang kelagan namin para makapunta na ng border ng egypt? naunahan pa kami ng mga india at chinise. paki bilisan lng po ang pagaasiko ng mga kelangan para sa paglikas namin.......SALAMAT PO!

Any development?
Please give us any information if you have seen or heard anything from Louie Russel Ciriaco his contact number is 218-918-171-268. Last time we spoke was around 12 am February 25th (Friday) this is the local time for Libya. They were trying to cross the border heading to Tunisia at the same date on or around 5:00am. In total of 8 people and they used to work for Shinhan Engr. Inc, their employer was also with them. Please give us an update, if you heard anything from anyone. Thank you very much.
