NotesBeware of emailed job offers for childcare and other similar positions in the UK. These are all frauds.

• Since November 2008, no visas are granted for household workers from outside Europe. Work visas are only granted for highly-skilled positions, most of which require university degrees.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK requires you to pay them any money. All fees would be paid by the employer.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a free email address from Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a telephone number that begins with +4470 (070). These are non-geographic numbers available to anyone in the world.

• No legitimate business requests payment via Western Union.

Is mark travel agency is a registered agency in UK?

t's irrelevant whether it's registered or not. If it is purporting to be able to obtain visas, work permits, or other immigration documentation for the UK it is fraudulent - travel agencies have no role in obtaining such documents, British visas are ONLY obtainable from the British Embassy in your own country, and you will be required to attend an interview in person and pay the relevant fees yourself, and there are very few categories of work which qualify for citizens of non-European Union countries to be granted work permits - mostly requiring that you have at least a Masters degree.

An easy indication that a so-called agency is fraudulent is if the telephone number they give begins +4470... or 004470... - these look like they are in the UK but in fact they can be redirected anywhere in the world and you usually end up speaking to someone in West Africa who will tell you that you need to send them money by Western Union so they can produce your documentation. THESE OPERATIONS ARE ALWAYS FRAUDULENT. We get questions like yours from the Philippines nearly every day - please spread the word that it is EXTREMELY unlikely that someone from outside the European Union can obtain a work permit for any job requiring less than a Masters degree.
