The last 2 messages that I posted was the email for my sister, I just want to ask if it is the right process for direct employment. She was hired as Private Nurse in Scotland by Engr. Martin Rogers. I sent already 1128 pounds as travel insurance and then they are asking for 1750 pounds for health insurance and for DHL charges of her documents(plane ticket etc..) All deposits are under my sister's name but still can't help to think not good about this...Anyone can advise me, i would really appreciate..

WHY DO WE USE WESTERN UNION INSTEAD OF BANK STATEMENTS, DRAFTS OR CHEQUES?
Before now, the UK Border Agency accepted Bank statements, Drafts and Cheques as methods of submission of security deposits. Unfortunately, a lot of Visa applicants from Asia, Africa and some parts of Europe abused the method. These Applicants submitted copies of falsified documents, bank statements and dud cheques. Over the years, we have been saddled with the challenges of identifying these fraudulent Visa applicants and in a swift bid to curb their operations; we are in alliance with the Metropolitan police and Interpol. These dramatic situations prompted the U.K Border Agency & Home Office to revise the standard of operations hence, the annulment of the acceptance of Bank Statements, Drafts or Cheques and adoption of the WESTERN UNION or MONEY GRAM as the ONLY method of submission of security deposits for all International Visa applicants.

WHY CAN'T EMPLOYERS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?
Your Visa fees, Residence/ Work Permit fees and Health Insurance fees are shouldered by your Employer. As much as Employees are mandated to submit the security deposit of £1180 to show proofs of sufficient funds for their Basic Travel Allowance (BTA), Employers are as well mandated to submit a security deposit of £5,000 to show that they have sufficient funds to sponsor your stay in the United Kingdom. Therefore, it is a criminal offence and violation of the UK Immigration Acts of 2011 should any Employer be responsible for security deposit required by the Employee. IS THIS SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE OR JUST A ONE TIME PAYMENT?
The Security deposit of £1180 GBP is not a payment, it is only a deposit required for verification within 24 hours and subject to retrieval upon completion of the 24 hour verification process. This means that the UK Border Agency will prompt you upon completion of the 24 hour verification period to return to any Money Gram agent and or Western Union Money Transfer and retrieve your funds back.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE THE VISA APPLICATION TO BE PROCESSED & APPROVED AFTER THE SUBMISSION OF THE VISA REQUIREMENTS?

Fake job offers from the UK
To all of you asking about job offers from the UK.

You cannot get a visa to come to the UK to work anymore. This type of visa was abolished in November 2008. The only way you could come as any sort of domestic worker is if you had been working for the family for at least a year in their household outside the UK.

All offers of jobs in the UK where you have not been interviewed in the UK are fake. There are very strict procedures to be followed before a non EEA national can be employed. It would be impossible to get permssion to employ you if you had not been interviewed and if you did not have a degree level qualification. Only 121 occupations quaify for a work visa now. All are highly skilled jobs.

Think about it. Who would employ a complete stranger from another country that they have never met, never taken up references, never had a police check done to look after their children?

The ONLY way to get a visa is to apply yourself and pay for it through the Union bamk or wih a manager's cheque in local currency. Visas are not processed in the UK and are not paid for in the UK. Agencies and lawyers do not process visas.

Beware of yahoo and other free email accounts. UK businesses never use free email accounts.

Beware +4470xxxx tel nos. These look like UK numbers but are not. they are redirectable anywhere in the world and are premium rate. They are never used for legitimate purposes.

Requests for payment by Western Union are also a sign of a fake job scam. No business accepts or requests payment by this method.
