I went to the embassy this morning to request for a affidavit of support for my wife and daughter(I brought a copy of their visa as well as our passport copies). The staff who is collecting the document in the queue insisted that I should bring the original salary certificate even after I showed him the visa notice that was issued by the immigration dept. Is this really necessary? Is the visa notice not enough proof that I am capable of supporting my family when they are here considering the fact that a salary certificate or work contract is one of the requirements for visa application?. Come on, it didn't even take for the immigration department of Qatar two days to review and approve my application and now I have to go over to our HR department to request for for another salary certificate? I may sound sour griping but hey I am not one of those lucky guys who have an understanding boss that I could ask permission to leave the office for an hour or so to do personal business.

My sister Wilma Bercanual was attacked by her Employer in alrijan doha qatar and she was inprisoned by them without any valid reason. Pleaase help us to bring her back in the Philippines.

My husband Edwin Vergara Zapanta is currently employed there in Qatar since summer of last year. He's a mechanical engineer by profession. Being the ever trusting wife that I am, I did not bother to ask for his employer/company name and office phone number since he handed me his personal contact number +97433496487. Okay naman po ang communication namin not until several weeks ago. We've been trying to contact him particularly everyday kasi po maysakit yung anak namin, na-dengue and currently naka confine sa hospital. Sana po matulungan ninyo ako malocate siya asap. Thanks!
