DEPENDANT VISA
Fiancé visa
Hi ma'am Good day,I would like to ask if there's a fiancé visa?cos my fiancé is a working resident in your beautiful place in PNG,is it applicable for a working resident??thanks you and hoping for response.

THE VISA YOU REQUIRE IS A DEPENDANT VISA
YOU WILL NEED TO BE MARRIED TO APPLY FOR THIS VISA
YOU WILL NEED PERMISSION FROM YOUR FIANCE EMPLOYEER TO PROVIDE ACCOMADATION.

THE APPLICATION PAPERWORK WILL NEED TO BE LODGED BY YOUR FIANCE EMPLOYER AND LODGED IN PORT MORESBY
4 - 6 WEEKS MINIMUM FOR APPROVAL
NEED TO LODGE APPLICATION FOR VISA IN EMBASY AS WELL
VISA WILL TYPICALLY TAKE 6 WEEKS TO ISSUE IF ALL THE PAPERWORK IS CORRECT AND SUBMITTED IN TIME

working in png
THERE ARE SEVERAL REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION ABOUTWORKING VISAS.... TIMING AND PROCESS

STEP 1
YOUR NEW EMPLOYER(IN PNG) NEEDS TO APPLY FOR A WORK PERMIT.
THIS IS LODGED BY THE EMPLOYER IN PORT MORESBY.THIS REQUIRES THEM TO LODGE A WHOLE PILE OF DOCUMENTATION AT THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR . ONCE THE EMPLOYER HAS ALL OF THE REQUIRD DOCUMENTATION AND LODGES THE APPLICATION ,IT TAKES ABOUT 7-14DAYS TO APPROVE THE WORK PERMIT.
STEP 2

AGAIN THIS IS DONE BY THE EMPLOYER IN PORT MORESBY THE WORK PERMIT AND MOST OF THE PREVIOSLY REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION IS AGAIN SUBMITED YO THE DEPARTMENT OF IMMIGRATION WITH AN APPLICATION TO ISSUE A VISA. THIS TYPICALLY TAKES 3 OR 4 WEEKS.
ONCE THIS IS APPROVED IN PORT MORESBY THEY WILL NOTIFY THE EMBASSY.

DIFFERENT PNG EMBASSIES IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS. SO THE FIRST STEP IS TO GO AND GET A LIST OF REQUIREMENTS.

YOU HAVE A MINIMUM WAIT OF 6 WEEKS TO GET ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER.
USE THAT TIME TO GET THE REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER

I HAVE HEARD OF WORKING VISA ISSUED IN 6 WEEKS BEST CASE , TYPICALLY 10 WEEKS, WORST CASE I HAVE HEARD OF VISA TAKING 6 MONTHS

I BELIEVE THERE IS SOME SHORTCUT SYSTEMS IN PLACE FOR MINING AND LNG PROJECTS...I HAVE NO KNOWEDGE OF THIS

I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR MY 6TH WORKING VISA IN 20 YEARS, AND GETTING FAIRLY GOOD AT FOLLOWING THE PNG SYSTEM.

HOPE THE INFO HELPS
