Yes it's a true news
The decision on the launch of Public Authority for manpower will be issued next week, local daily reported. Since the government appointed a general director for the state-owned authority last March, work has been ongoing to complete the staff and finalize the mechanism through which it will handle the process of recruiting expatriate labor forces.
According to reports, the new divisions include one that will handle labor recruitment procedures, and another which will take care of labor forces protection duties.
The authority will supposedly have a clear mechanism to set labor requirement standards for major businesses in Kuwait. In addition to bringing workers from outside, the authority will also assume sponsorship for workers, effectively phasing out the flawed sponsorship or ‘Kafeel’ system in the process.
