Comments on this Embassy
Dear all pls disregard this website. It is not official. i am sure the person controlling this portal might be a scammer. KIndly look for the right website
Make your phones work,it will reduce traffic at the Embassy. For more than one week I could not get through any of the numbers available in order to ask a simple question.
The staff at the passport and visa office in Washington DC should be replaced. They are totally incompetent. I don't believe they even graduated from High School. They are nothing but pretenders and charlatans who bribed their way to the Embasssy. It takes less than one week to process visa in Atlanta and 2 months to process visa in Washington DC. What a shame?
Is there a problem going on with the Nigerian Embassy in A Washington DC? They do no answer phones, emails, return calls, or complete applications in a timely fashion.
Yes I have been trying to reach Mr Agey through his phone # he gave me and the ph is always busy and
dare to pick up the phone. Yes i needed to know what is going on with my passport because I told him that i was going to travel in Sept and now we are in October and have bought my ticket and he promised me that he will speedy it up. Now I have lost my ticket which is non refoundabe and still hv not received my passport.
Please see to this matter for I hv lost my ticket money. Thanks for prompt reply.
Veronica.
This is really sad. I turned in my passport over 15 business days ago when the Nigerian embasssy said it needed a max of 15 Business days. I am due to travel to Lagos next week and have neither my passport or visa. They didn't even send an email acknowledging receipt of my documents. The embassy doesn't respond to emails and no phone numbers work. This is the embassy in DC. I am more sad than mad. We live in america and still act this incompetent. This isn't even peak season. How many Nigerians go home in October?
