A person from Senegal wants to send me a cheque or deposit in my bank account payments of so much per month the first payment is 10,000 dollars which she says i keep 3,000 and send her the remaining 7,000 as yet i haven't said yes
Is this a scam and if so how they havnt asked me for anything till they send the money

I also receive this same message from a refuge at senegal that i should help her tranfer his late father money direct to my bank account.but i didnt do it so the next thing i saw in mail is that someone else as help her transfer the funs from london and lastly that she want to compesate me with 35000$ and also that shw left a draft check for to REV/pascal and the rev.ask me to send 186$ for him to make the transfer for me.
please now am confuse sbout that please help me out may be itsfroud or not

Halimah Al-obeidi I'm (24)years old still single and never married, I am from Libya in North Africa and presently, I am residing in the orphanage/refugee camp here in Dakar Senegal, as a result of the civil war going on in my country. I was a first year student of law at the university, before the incident that lead me into this situation of living in the camp.

My late father Major General. Abdul Fattah Younes Al-Obeidi was a senior military officer in Libya, He held the rank of Major General and the post of Minister of Interior, but resigned on 22nd February 2011 to defect the rebel in Libyan civil war. My father was killed by members of an anti-Gaddafi military on 28th July 2011. When rebels anti-Gaddafi military troop attacked our house one early morning killing my parents. Equally my mother was six months pregnant and a senior lecturer at the university before her death, it's only me that is alive now because I am the only child to my parents, and I managed to make my way with the help of UN to Senegal, where I am leaving now as refugee.

I would like to know more about you. Your likes and dislikes, as I love cooking, handball, singing,karaoke, reading,etc. I don't like dishonest people. Your hobbies and what you are doing presently. Thank you for your kind concern for me, mine here is very hot  in Dakar Senegal in this field find it difficult to leave because we are not allowed to do so, it's like I stay in prison and I hope that by the grace of God I will get out of here soon. David Peter who is the parish priest of the (Church of God Mission) here in the camp. he has been very good for me since I got here, I'm using his office computer to send you this emails. I'm living in the hostel of the girl because the camp have two hostels one for boys and one for girls. A girl just designed a letter to me telling me that she saw my profile today on fb and became interested about me ,asked me reply in her private mailbox which i did,then from they she started telling her life story,that her father was the senior military officer and held rank of major general but resigned to rebel on going war and was killed by the anti-gadafi group in libya war and mother was equally killed in her sixmonths preg.that she managed her way to dakar,senegal through UN and stay in the refugee camp with help of Rev father martins somebody whom she uses his office computer to email me,she asked for help to come and meet me she gave me every information abt rev ,lawyer,bank.Tel&emails.The law asked me to pay $450 4 prep.of pwer of attorney&affida of oath which she&rev pleaded the lawyer and it reduced to $250,still i didn't pay ,she asked me the amount i can raise and i hven't done it she h bin wrtin evtin to me.now bc of scam i don't know if it's real i wll tel more because it's too much ur help pl
