As a a matter of fact, we are disoriented, lost focus, indiviguality, self esteem, selfishness, paying others with the way we were treated when we first arrived.
Demanding for worship from those we helped, running after money, forgetting our root (Nigeria) have lead to our ever backward situation in this country.
We lack trust for ourselves, we are spiritually divided, we sell ourselves to gain fame and friendship.
The Mexicans, Kuwaties, Irish, Samoans, Ethopians, Kenyans are coming up stronger heading for the TOP, we are continouosly trading ourselves for menial jobs and positions.
Our only way out is to remember what we faced before we left our country and find a way to break even and build a better future for ourselves and our future generation. Becoming a Citizen is not a solution to our ROOT national problems.
We need to wake up and open our eyes, if we dont, we are preparing more sleeping beds for our kids and asking them to have more sleeping hours, then poverty is the end of our journey to this land.
Let us remove pride, hatred, division, selfiness, idea of paying back, useless competitions and look back for once at where we are coming from and help ourselves.
Only us can help us...have a nice read.

The word employment equal opportunity is not applicable to aliens or foreigners, many are not favored in getting jobs with their certificates, the level of discrimination is high and hatred for foreigners. We are not recognized at all; the black americans see us as intruders, abatross or imbeciles that leave our country to take up their jobs. They do not believe that there are US citizens in our country, and hardly believe that foreigners are well treated in our country, even when we educate them, they still ask the same questions, I quote "what have you come to do in our country, if your country is good"
In a jiffy, I work in the Department of education for over seven years, I obtained my first degree (bachelor) in accounting, and MBA in accounting and still not promoted or given a chance to work in the account department. I have spoken with the top managers and all the top notchers and have not been considered. I am working on my PhD, AND CPA now with the hope that things will change later.
The greatest problem is that none of our brothers wants to assist anybody, and the network we have is poor, even in the church. To make it, needs team work and strong network with those people at the helm of affairs. Our focus is quite different, we are far from been strategic, benevolent, and scientific; we are selfish and egostic.
Those who make it are fortunate and made it through self reliance, hardwork, and God. It is hard here.
Be that as it may, I am still looking for a befitting job, so that I can start paying my loan.
