Visiting Mexico
I am planning a trip to Mexico this weekend. I have just noticed that my passport will expire in December. I will only be in Mexico for a few days. Will this present a problem when I go through customs in Mexico? I have read that the requirement is that the passport have at least 6 months validity?

Raleigh Office - Such Terrible Service
My fiance and I went to the Mexican consulate so that he could get his passport renewed. Here are my biggest complaints about this place:
1. Why make an appointment if they are not going to go by appointment. It is a first come, first serve business. We made an appointment for 3PM and did not leave that place until 7:30PM that night. It was outrageous how long we had to wait.
2. The service from these people is out-right rude. My fiance was finally called to update his passport and the person was so rude. He acted as if he was better than my fiance and me. I was not happy at all with the service.
3. Once we finally had his information updated and they took his picture for his new passport, we still had to wait another hour and a half to be called to pay for the services. I was so ill by that time that I was so ready to day f*** it and leave.
4. NO AIR CONDITIONING! It was hotter than the devil's balls in there. From all the money they are making, they should at least have a good working AC unit in that building.

Consulate moves to new location
The Consulate of Mexico has moved from Six Forks to 431 Raleigh View Rd., Raleigh NC 27610. Somebody should update the address above.

Can never make contact
They don't answer phones or return emails. I guess this is another government agency that does nothing

Raleigh location has moved.

The Mexican Consulate has moved in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is now located at 431 Raleigh View Road. It was a nightmare to find considering we didn't find this out until we went to the location on Six Forks Road.

Raleigh NC office
I spoke with an immigration lawyer about this office never answering their phones. Apparently you have to call the consulate IN Mexico and they will set up an appointment for the office here in Raleigh.
