We are a sovereign nation and yet Mexicans break our laws everyday crossing our border illegally. We should tell the mexican government turn that MARINE loose or we will send back all your illegal citizens breaking our laws.also my family has time shares in Cano and guess what we are not going to spend our money there THIS year.

Why can't Mexico enforce its laws?
Many people here are pretending to cancel vacations they never actually planned, because they are upset that the Mexican police have detained someone breaking Mexican law.

What are these people asking for? Should we Americans have carte blanche to travel to other countries and break their laws? How is that a good situation?

Disgrace
I just want to inform you and your so called Govt. that my family and i have canceled our vacation plans to your Country.I will experience a small monetary loss but it will be worth it just on principle. Give Our Marine Back ! You can skip through the kangaroo court process that you call your "Legal System". The dysfunctional abyss that you call a govt. only embarrasses your warm and hospitable people which may be the reason men women and children risk life and limb to ESCAPE from. Your govt. can learn a lot from the Drug Cartels that have skill, organization and resolve in accomplishing anything they wish. Give us Our Marine Back ! And preform your duties to your own people so the U.S.A. does not have to deal with your poor, tired ,pathetic huddled masses. What A Shame that your people came from a race that built pyramids and astronomers that mapped the universe to a people who stare at that same universe while raising their families in card board box's in the desert! All countries have their problems but yours are easily remedied by growing a conscience and a pair of cojones . Thank God There Is A Hell...But your govt. is used to the heat.

Impossible to get help calling Mexican Consulate in New York!
I called the Mexican Consulate in New York to ask about documents required for a minor traveling without his parent(s) from the US to Mexico. The answering system first asks you to select Espanol or English. So far so good. After that you get no where. The options given do not have a selection for questions regarding travel to Mexico. The closest was for questions about a Visa, which then referred me to a website. There were no selections to speak to a person.
Please add an option to speak to an operator, who can direct you to the right person!
