Welcome to Mexico
The inefficiency of the Mexican Consulate is just an example of how horrible things are done in Mexico. It is a shame that the people in the Mexican Consulate of NYC have not learned how to have good customer service. You live in NY for goodness sake!!!

Mexican NYC Consultate Appointment Scheduling: no one anwers phone???
I have been trying now for a week to schedule an appointment with the Mexican Consulate in New York City. I have been dialing the number that a recording has given me and that the Consular web site has indicated: 1 877 639-4835. Each time I call, I choose the "English Option": three times I got connected to only Spanish speaking operators. One time I got connected to the Los Angeles Mexican Consulate. The other 10 times!!, I got a recording stating that all operators are busy, call back later??? I was not able to leave a message to have someone call me back?? Can someone from the consulate advise as to how a country's consular office can be functioning in this manner and more importantly, actually do something to correct this broken system? Thank you

Your appointment scheduling is a waste of time
I have spend the past 4 days attempting to make an appointment without luck. What a waste of my time, also I hope you realize that your online scheduling doesn't work. Bad, bad service.
