Hi my name is idrees Thatho i was born in lesotho and this is my 8th year in south Africa i did my 7 years studies in south Africa with study permit and now i completed my studies and i'm now staying in south africa, and i need south african ID. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to get through on the telephone lines on Thursday afternoon for over an hour and throughout the day today Friday 1April 2016. There is just no answer at all. I need to find out who insures the government vehicles in Lesotho. Specifically the Health Department. One of their vehicles was involved in a head-on collision with a foreign vehicle and we cannot find out who to contact regarding the insurance. Apparently the vehicles are leased through one of three South African companies. I've got a ladie who doesn't have ID book or passport she was born in south africa but her parents are from lesotho and they both past away i need to know what to do for her to get ID book we have tried but not wining I wish Lesotho embassy to assist on that please.

If you go to home affairs Web site it doesn't tell you how much you have to pay work a work permit or application for a SA ID BOOK.
I tried several times to phone the Embsay in Pretoria but the phone is just ringing.

Our company (South African) needs to do work for a South African based client who is opening a branch in Maseru. We plan to be working on the site for approximately 3 weeks. Do my employees need work visa's for this period?
