hi, i just want to ask what are the steps in getting visa..do I need to send email for visa application appointment? Our nulla osta will be released on July 13 and it will be send to me asap. While waiting for it, what documents do I need to prepare and what steps should I do? pls email me @ geloquints@gmail.com
thank you :)
all u have to do is to call the authorized call center by the italian embassy using PLDT d.d.d. or globe or bayantel. the call center agent will tell u all the necessary documents and the date of pick up. or u can ask the guards of the embassy for the list of documents needed.or u can consult the italian embassy website (english version) for all the necessary informations.

Unfortunately, if the italian embassy denied a visa application, we cant do nothing about it. U can try to ask some 'agencies' in Manila whose job were to help those who have difficulties in getting their visa's, but you will have to pay them a little or more, or maybe u can put some money in ur fiancé's bank account as proof of 'subsistence'. By the way, u didn't mention ur nationality if ur Italian or a US citizen.Usually, for inviting someone to come to Italy, u need to provide 'fideiussione bancaria' and 'assicurazione sanitaria'.....aside from the requirements that ur fiancé will submit to the embassy....if this is not satisfied, it's normal that they will deny any visa application (as tourist).
My fiance received a letter of refusal last Saturday, 25Jun2011. We provided all the documents that required by Italian Embassy in the Philippines. Also submitted a invitation letter NOTARIZED by military Legal on base, and Proof of employment.
According to the letter of refusal that she did not(1) provide proof of subsistence, (2) no valid reason to stay, and (3) when she will leave the country or members state. These are the reasons. I thought we provided all the required documents based on the Italian Embassy requirements. I already submitted a proof of income and guaranteed return to philippines (plane ticket) after 3 months.\We have a daughter that was born in Philippines last year. I would like to see my baby but i can't due to work commitments. Can anyone help me how to get a tourist visa for my fiance?
i think un appointment is only for visa application.
for consular servises (like legalization of marriage contract)open to the public naman ang ofc nila...
from the website:
Consular Office is open to the public: Monday-Friday: 09.00 – 12.00
what do u mean? petition sa italy mismo o sa paghingi na ng visa? pakilinaw....kung un sa italy pa lang, same pa rin ang requirements!
