River fishing
Dear Sir,

I believe this message could reach to Kecamatan Lumbis /Mansalong in Kel Tim through your esteemed office.
Our recent visit to some villages along the Sungai Logongon from Pensiangan which leads to Mansalong and noticed that most the fish in the river are not found any more due to the frequent catches by generator set used by the kampong folks from Kg. Labang right up to Mansalong. Fish like Palian, Sopong and Salarong were once very famous there but now no more can find in Pensiangan district in Sabah.

Please allow us to suggest to the Bapa Camat in Mansalong to introduce and in force the Laws that any body found catching fish using the generator to shock the fish will be facing the Laws. Otherwise, the kampong folks will not have the knowledge that the fish will be no more enjoy by the younger generation in years to come. The wrongful fishing also affect much to the people in the district of Pensiangan in Sabah as fishing is one of the major income for the family.

We sincerely hope that this message will reach Mansalong and circulate to all the Ketua Adat and the Kepala Desa along the said river and other smaller rivers within Kalimatan Timur area. We believe fish is one of the major food for the kampong folks there and once this wrongful act of fishing to keep on will also cut off their income and food for the children.

Thank you Sir and your cooperation is highly appreciated.
