Dear sir,
I came oman to india Emergency Certificate No. X252643 through Indian Embassy Oman on 13th September 2013.
I have applied reissue passport -Narmal for 26th September 2013. police verification completed on November 2013. After that I checked the online service the status (application review under regional passport office) remain same till date. Mean while I came more than 4 times regional passport office for any update and getting passport but they are not giving proper answer(we need confirmation from indian embassy oman) the same status more than 90 days they are saying. I spoke to the oman indian embassy passport officers thay said after issue the emergency certificate no need for any confirmation. I came to regional office and meet mr. Balasubramanian he saying we need confirmation again. I am afraid my passport getting delayed more than 120 days without any problems. I have to back my work soon. Please help me out of this problem as soon as possible sir.
Hi, I need to start the family joining visa process here in Muscat but I am told that I would not get embassy attestation on my Marriage Certificate until I get my wife's name on my passport. My question is, do I need to re-issue the passport via submitting Form EAP-1, or is there some other way around this? Also, if EAP-1 has to be filled by when can I expect my new passport to be issued? Please help, in urgent need.
