emergency passport takes 30 days. if you apply as a normal, it takes 2 and half month. example if you apply as normal,if you applied on 28-4-13, then check your passport after 13-7-13

Re issue passport
Hello
I have given my passport for an re issue as the expiring date is 24/08/13.
On 28/04/13 I left it for a reissue and I saw today the list of july5 has came out in which itam00654713 is out but after that their is already a new number and my itam is itam 00654913.
I wanted to know if these lists are followed by some chronology or they are all randomly? Because if they have some order how come after 00654713 their isn't 00654813? Or 00654913?
My passport should be ready by 28/July that's what the embassy told me. But I saw like in June the first list came out 4 then directly 27 and 28 do they follow same order evn in July,?

पासपोर्ट आवेदन के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण के साथ, सिस्टम केवल प्रणाली में भरा छोड़ संख्या की उपलब्धता पर नियुक्ति की अनुमति देता है. इतना भरा संख्या समाप्त हो गया है, तो सिस्टम स्वचालित रूप से आवेदन फार्म डाउनलोड करने से रोक दिया जाएगा.
सही तरीके से ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरें. प्रपत्र पर कोई गलती आवेदन फार्म रद्द हो जाएगा. यह अन्य आवेदक का इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता था जो एक आवेदन बर्बाद होगा.

While registering Online for passport application, the system allows appointment only on availability of numbers left filled in the system. If the number so filled up has been exhausted, the system will automatically stop downloading application form.
Please fill up online application form correctly. Any mistake on the form will cancel the application form. This will waste one application which other applicant could have used.
