the above subject matter, the management hereby congratulates you on your successful emergence based on detailed
screening of your curriculum vitae by our official recruitment consultants; the TRANSOCEAN SEDCO FOREX.

DESIGNATION:
Roustabout
EMOLUMENT:
The basic salary is specified in the Offer Letter and is payable in United States Dollars (USD) as are all other allowances
(family allowance, expatriation and installation) Emoluments (basic salary and allowances) are payable areas with the
exception of the installation allowance which is payable in taking up duty.
Emoluments are exempted from Income Tax.
MONTHLY BASIC SALARY:
Position for the high skilled staffs and other staffs of rank A/A2
Your basic salary will be $2,500/per month.
EXPARTRIATE ALLOWANCE
The expatriate allowance is payable to staff members. Rate for single staff: 14 percent of basic salary. Household allowance:
21 percent of basic salary. Expatriation child allowance: $250/child per month. This is paid if you receive the expatriation
and the dependent child allowance. It may be replaced by the education allowance (90 percent reimbursement of real
expenses to a ceiling).

JOB PROCEEDINGS / REQUIREMENTS:
Upon your acceptance of this offer, the following below must be provided for further proceedings.
1. SAFETY CERTIFICATE
2. BLOOD BORNE PATHOGEN AWARENESS CERTIFICATION
3. SWIMMING CERTIFICATION
4. FIRE FIGHTING CERTIFICATE
CONTRACT DURATION:
48 months (Liable for upward review depending on your commitment and expertise).Contract will be signed within one
month of resumption of duty.
DURATION OF WORK PERIODS: One months work in, twenty eight days pay leave.
WORKTIME:
Work time shall be 8 hours per day for the 48 months contract term. Any work performed beyond the normal 8 hours per
day, shall be due for an overtime benefit
MOBILIZATION:
Upon all arrangement to commence duty, we will consider any request in regard to mobilization like advance salary etc.
ACCOMMODATION: First class accommodation will be provided for you.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT PACKAGES:

THE MEDICAL AND SOCIAL SYSTEN
The Transocean has an excellent and comprehensive social scheme.
This includes paid sick leave and paid maternity leave. The health care insurance scheme covers staff members and their
families.
All staff members are required to subscribe to the Medical and Social system of the Transocean Sedco Forex Management.
Contributions are deducted automatically from monthly emoluments at the rate of 0.2 percent of basic salary for health care.
Compulsory death and invalidity insurance contributions are deducted at the rate of 0.55 percent of total emolument.
TRAVEL AND REMOVABLE EXPENSES
The travel expenses of a staff member related to taking up duty at the Transocean base – Headquarters and on termination
of appointment are reimbursable. Under certain conditions the staff member family travel expenses may be reimbursed.
(You will be informed in your offer which member of your family qualified for travel reimbursement). On the same occasion
and under certain conditions, the cost of removal of furniture and other personal effects is paid by the Transocean
Management.
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE:
Employer for each intercontinental trip shall pay £100.00 flat rate travel/entertainment allowance, to employee.
CURRENCY TRANSFER
Staff members receiving an expatriate allowance may transfer through the Transocean Management up to 50 percent of
their total emoluments to the country of which they are nationals or to their country of residence at the time of appointment.
FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION AND LABOUR MARKET OPINION AUTH0RIZATION
The Csic Immigration Consultant is Responsible for the Filling of Application to Human Resources and Skills Development
and Service for the Issuance of a Foreign Employment Authorization and an Authorized Labour Market Opinion
Confirmation.
During the Filling of your Application to the Human Resource and Skill Development and Service if you meet up with your
criteria we will issue you an employment contract that you and the management of Transocean must sign.
OVERSEA APPLICANTS VISA AND WORKING PERMIT
The Transocean Management is working directly with the Immigration Consultant for the processing of Applicants Visa and
Working permits.

3. Daily duty hours 8 hrs/7days
4. Accommodation Provided by the Company
5. Visa/Resident Permit Travel consultants/SKA Travels & Tours
LOCAL TRANSPORT: Vehicles and other means of transport shall be adequately provided.
NOTE: A week before your commencement of duty, your immigration permit papers shall be released by your country
immigration Service to you, and then we shall send your name/file to the embassy and provide you with official directions
NOTE: THAT EXPATRIATES WHO DO NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES
