I think German Consulate-General in Mumbai should speed up all visa process because its too slow --12 weeks.
Its seems more of 1995 when logistical was slow and small information pools. There are enough technology and information as well as human resourse(specially available all time for you In India). Please make use of that and speed up process which will in all way speed up groth of germany.

I am Yamini Batra - passport number , my application was sent back for Anabin during my appointment day for a national visa on 20th April 2017. I'd like to know why the embassy is insisting on Anabin as the guidelines/checklist suggest it is not applicable in my situation.

Please understand how damaging all this is and how badly it's affecting my timelines. I double-checked the list available on your website to ensure my application is foolproof and I am finding it very difficult to understand why I am having to undergo this pushback when I am neither applying to study further nor am I applying for a job seeker visa.
My joining date is 15th May 2017, my non-refundable tickets are already booked for 10th May 2017, and to secure the Anabin is not only EUR 200, but also an additional and unnecessary churn.
Seeing I've been put in such a difficult position, it would be great if you can please clarify and explain this situation, in light of the contradiction. My employer would also like to discuss this delay with you. Her details are below, kindly let me know when this will be possible.
