Complaint against harassment for getting an appointment
I, Malay Dewanji, a life member of the Indo German Association, Kolkata, and Hony. General Secretary, LAMP, had an appointment today-19th September, 2013, for submitting application for Schengen VISA. As I have visited Schengen countries for more than 50 times since 1984, I did not take my Income Tax and Bank transaction documents. Though I was invited by the Deutsche Kalkutta Gruppe, I had the understanding that there will be no problem. However, I was told to bring those documents within 2-00 PM, but unfortunately I was again refused and told to get another appointment. Now I am in the process of getting anew appointment on 29th September at 9-30 AM(Available now), but the appointment could not be made because it is shown that the same information is used for getting another appointment( It means today's appointment). Now what I will have to do? Please give the appointment on 29th Sept. at 9-30 AM or 10-00 AM and send confirmation through e-mail ( malaydewanji@gmail.com // malaydewanji@hotmail.com // lamp.ngo.india@gmail.com // dishari@vsnl.net
With all best wishes.
Yours sincerely
Malay Dewanji

regarding dependent VISA of my spouse
Respected Sir,
I am an employee of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand. I have been offered “Post doctoral research associate” position in the University of Duisburg-Essen starting on 1st April for a period of one year. I have been in Germany for six months earlier from 1st November 2010 – 30th April 2011 (VISA no: D36968757 from Kolkata office (valid duration: 01/11/10-29/01/11) which was extended in Germany via VISA no: D39428402 till 30/04/11). I am married and have a baby of one year which I have to accompany during my present visit to Germany.
I have downloaded the “Information on Visa” for Dependent Visa. According to document list no. 12, she (my spouse) should submit a (A-1) level German Language proficiency certificate. Due to the following reasons, it would be next to impossible for her to study and get this certificate:
1. The date of joining is close enough to study and get a (A-1) level German Language proficiency certificate.
2. Our baby is just 1 year old. So, it would be very difficult for her to carry on the German language courses in my absence.
3. Such courses are not offered at our place. The nearest centre would be Kolkata. We are not having any relative in Kolkata to look after our child so that she can carry on her German language studies.
If you approve she could do the German Language course during her stay in Germany. German Language courses are regularly offered in Dusseldorf which would be nearest to my place of work i.e. Duisburg. So, I would request to consider our case. I would be grateful if you could allow her to submit the VISA application without (A-1) level German Language proficiency certificate and approve her VISA application for dependent VISA.
Thanking you with sincere regards,

Yours truly,
Sanat Kumar Mukherjee
