French Nationality Eligibility or not
Am born in pondicherry 1988. My Father born in Tamilnadu 1957 (alive)Registered in 1957. My Grand Mother Born In pondicherry 1932(decee).my Grand Father born in Tamilnadu(alive), married in pondicherry 1948. My Grand mothers Father born in pondicherry 1903(decee). ( For above information all documents avail) For my family before no renocent name. First time moving for frence Nationality. Whether am eligible for frence Nationality?

My grand father was born in cuddalore. My mother was born in pondicherry in 1961. She has birth certificate in pondicherry

Without knowing the origin of your grand father born in Tamil Nadu, it is not poassible to reply. If he was Indian, by marrying a french lady, he could not acquire fr. nationality. His descendants will be Indians. Yours sincerely

If your mother was born in Fr. India and minor in 196o, her father if born in Pondicherry should have opted and included her name in his option declaration
to the Fr. consulate general. Otherwise both will lose the french nationality, Your sincerely

Renoncants born in Fr. India who did not opt to conserve french nationality have become Indians. But they continue to be governed by French laws. Yours sincerely,

Sir,
My grand mother was born in 1938 at pondicherry,my grand father was born in tamilnadu. Their marriage was at 1960,my mother was born in 1961 at pondicherry. Shall my mother able to apply for french nationality? I hav my grand mother and grand father birth certificate and also i hav my mother birth birth certificate. Am i eligible to apply for french nationality?
