renoncant who registered their vote during french period can obtain french citizenship? or the 1962 option is must for them also. We can put case in france using lawyer regarding to obtain french citizenship?

Could you please explain this in detail. (Renoncants born in Fr. India who did not opt to conserve french nationality have become Indians. But they continue to be governed by French laws) Whether we comes under french law?

Sir, my father was born in pondicherry 1950 (now he is expired) .. my mother was born in tamilnadu 1966. I was born in the year 1987 .. my paternal grandfather was born in pondicherry and was working in french government and we don have his documents. you say: you were born in Pondicherry in 1988, your father born in Tamil Nadu in 1957, your paternal grand father born in Tamil Nadu. If you prove that your paternal great grand father was born in Pondicherry,you can claim for CNF by petition with relevant documents. Yours sincerely

My Father born 1957 in Tamilnadu and Date of registered Birth certificate in 1957 and Mother were born in Tamilnadu but. Only my fathers Elder brother born (1950) in pondicherry (alive)
What is the possible way to claim from my side sir.

You were born in 1988 in India. If you prove that at the time of your birth, either your father or mother was of french nationality, yuu can claim for CNF. Yours sincerely
