Dear sir my grand father has french nationality that we have proof of declaration mean confirm on 1969 through french government by letter .but we miss the paper and number.how do we get that and formalities.he declare 1952 and he passed.we still indians .my grand mother has french passport .he were there 1 year in 1973 she passed on 1993 . my mother trying to her rights.

sir, my brother got nationality 5years ago, by using my father and mothers paper. but still i'm not get nationality. and my brother have all papers but i don't have any papers. now my brother also helpless for me.

I got French nationality when I was in govt service in TamilNadu. Is there any rule permitting French national person born in Pondichery, to continue working in govt service of Tamilnadu?

Once again repeat, Am born in pondicherry 1988,my Father Born in Tamilnadu & Registered in 1957, my paternal Grand Mother Born In Pondicherry 1932 and Married in 1948 in pondicherry,Her Husband ie.,My paternal Grand Father born in Tamilnadu 1924. My paternal Great Grand Father Born in Pondicherry 1903.

I repeat you were born in 1987. your father born in Pondicherry in 1950. Your mother was born in Tamil Nadu in 1966 and your paternal grand father born in Pondichery worked in French Govenrment,
Any how, if you prove that either your father or mother had or conserved french nationality, at the time of your birth, you are eligible to apply. for CNF. Now it is too late, you will have to meet more expenses and difficulties. Yours sincerely

For the renoncants non optants, the french laws are applicable, under Franco Indian treaty,1956 which came into force on 16.08.1962.
A suit about this treaty can be filed by the countries concerned ie France and India and not by ex french citizens before the International Court, Yours sincrely
