My great grandfather, grand father was born in pondicherry. My grandmother born in tamilnadu. They have registered their marriage before 1956. All there children born in Ahmadabad including my mother, when my grandfather worked in army force. Now all their children got french nationality, whereas my mother was declined due to duplication of birth certificate in pondicherry. The pondicherry birth certificate was proved to be an duplicate in the court . But pondicherry consulate asked us to file a case in france in order to get the french nationality to my mother few years back. Please suggest us, how to proceed.

My father born in french (tamil nadu) having french passport died in 1978 my mother born in french (pondicherry 1931)mother age now 85 lived can or my mother get nationality having proof of fore fathers voted in french period i applied for nationality from 2010 onwards no reply can advise to whom contact for get nationality, 2 reminder letter submitted recently

"If one of the parents acquires French nationality or get re-dmission of the French nationality, it will have the effect of confering nationality to his children aged less than 18 years, legitimate, illegitimate or adopted.However the minor child will not get that benefit if he is married.".
