grants funds to csos/ngos and other institutions in uganda
i have learnt with interest that danida has some funds that it gives as donations to local governments and csos/ngos.
am from the eastern part of uganda-elgon zone that has very many challenges especially related to climate change due to human activities. there is though a persistence in encroachment by the communities living adjacent to the national park.
my interest is to come up with a proposal on how we can reduce the impacts of environmental degradation in this zone putting in mind that population explosion is the major pushing factor, in manafwa district

Sponsorship for online Programme in Public Health
I am currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health in the Virtual University of Uganda and this lead me to attaining a Masters degree. I started the program in January 2012 and I am 2 months old in the course. The reason I am writing to the Danish Embassy of Uganda is to kindly seek for sponsorship as most likely I might not meet the fees in the long run.On record, I have worked for the Rural Water and sanitation Project (RUWASA) Phase 1 and 11 the 2 Phases which were fully funded by DINIDA and this was from 1990 to 2002.Both Phases were managed by Mr Mutono Sam who was once worked with you in this embassy. M/s Grace Wako working with your Embassy can be also my referee. My kind request is to seek for sponsorship so that I can complete this online course which is to cost me Sh 12,000,000/=.
(Twelve million shillings only).
With kind regards
