I need to go cyprus
Not able to contact them
My husband and I phone continuously. The phone call is ended.
With the high unemployment rate in South Africa; surely the embassy can employ a young Greek lady for Reception and answering the phone; booking appointments and dealing with the general public?
Hi is the Cypriot Embassy in Pretoria still open, been trying to phone and even emailed but no response.
All I need to do is renew my passport.
Totally unacceptable! I was told to collect my passport in Limossal by the Pretoria consulate. After much frustration and spending a huge amount of money to travel there, my passport was not even on the system in Limossal or Nicosia. I wasted 2 days in the Cypriot office.
On my return I have called many times and emailed 3 times. I still have No response and NO feedback.
I will take a third trip to Pretoria from the west rand tomorrow morning and try once again.
Can someone stand firm and HELP please....
I have been trying to contact the consulate in order to renew passport etc. I listened to a recording, called between 1 and 3pm as was told, but NO ONE answered the phone. This has gone on for days. What is one supposed to do to make an appointment. The lack of service is most disappointing and has been such for years. Please reply.
10 days ago after trying to phone the Embassy to no avail I drove all the way to the Embassy and got there at 10:30am only to be told that their office hours are from 9:00-10:00am and that they could not see me. I had travelled so far and was not going to leave until I spoke to someone. The kind gentleman who helped me there said that all the staff had resigned and only he and the High Commissioner were in the office but that they were going to appoint new staff and to phone in 10 days. I have been trying to get through to no avail - my question is - have they been able to get new staff? And when can we hope to get some service or Helen asked do we have to travel to Cyprus to get our passports renewed or get passports for our children? Can anyone shed any light and let us know what is happening?
I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT THE CYPRUS HIGH COMMISSION VIA EMAIL, SMS AND TELEPHONE TO NO AVAIL.
DO WE HAVE TO TRAVEL TO CYPRUS TO HAVE OUR EXPIRED CYPRIOT ECC PASSPORTS RENEWED OR REISSUED?
I AM SADDENED BY THE TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION OR THE COURTESY OF RESPONDING TO EMAILS OR ANSWERING THE TELEPHONE AS THIS WAS NOT THE CASE IN THE PAST.
I SUGGEST YOU PLACE A NOTICE ON YOUR WEBSITE IF THERE IS ANY ISSUE WITH THE EMAILS OR TELEPHONES.
On 26 Aug 15 after phoning 012 346 -3329 I was told to phone 073 369 5622 after the 1st of Sep 15 to apply for Cypriot passports - I have been phoning that number since the 1st almost every day. The first two times in the morning and the past few days in the afternoon between 13:00 - 15:30pm but it keeps going to voicemail asking you to leave a number but you get no feedback.
Please I would like to make an appointment as soon as possible because it takes 3-4 months for a passport to be issued. Is there a problem?
Good day
I sent an e-mail to the Cypriot High Commission in Pretoria two weeks ago to enquire about a visa. I have not yet received a response. Can you please advise me as to how I should go about obtaining a visa? I live in the Western Cape. I would also like to know what the cost of the visa will be.
Thank you!
