I was awarded a bilateral scholarship to Cuba to study about 7 years ago. Happily, i went studied, and graduated successfully. I returned to Jamaica served my 5 year bond well. Now i would like to continue my education. I have contacted the Cuban embassy, my University and the Jamaican embassy in Cuba on numerous occasions trying to obtain my school transcript or get my school transcript sent of, and it is proving tiring and impossible. Why is it that one can study so hard for so many years, graduate successfully and left stagnant due to Cuba's inability to produce a transcript when needed. I now understand that this has been going on for many years. Its 2016 and this has got to stop, there can be no progress is former graduates of Cuba continue to sit back and let this continue. We need a resolution.
