Dear Embassy Staff,
I am writing to express my concern regarding Mr. Gonzalo Lira, a Chilean citizen, living in Ukraine. He is a journalist and was resident in Kiev, but reporting from Kharkov. He has now gone silent, and there is concern that he has been detained by the SBU in Ukraine.
Can you please use whatever diplomatic leverage you have to secure his safe passage home for him and his family? Thank you.
