EMERGENCY TRAVEL DOCUMENT
Good morning, my mother became a Permanent Resident on Tuesday August 26th 2014. The following day, her son passed away in Guyana. She's contacted Immigration Canada from within Canada and they provided her information leading to her contacting your embassy.

She will be travelling to Guyana on Tuesday September 2nd.

I would like to know if you can please help her in obtaining access to a travel lettter?

If you can please direct us on what to do to gain access to a travel document.

Please understand the urgency of thi8s situation. This is an emergency and this is our position.

'Please, we need your help desperately.

I look forward in hearing from you, until then, do take care.

Have a good day.

I married my girlfriend, now my wife. I'm Trinidadian and she's a Canadian citizen she's been in trinidad with me since March of this year 2014. She has to return home soon and I would like to know the process which would allow us to be together in Canada as soon as possible. Should I get a visa and apply inland from Canada or apply Outland while she returns to Canada and I remain in trinidad until my papers are processed?

Temporary Visitor Visa
How long does it really take for a temporary visitor visa application to be processed? I have my mother's application which was sent in over 5 five weeks ago without no responses or update on the status of the application. To my understanding there is protocols on the website that indicates it take approximately 13 business days; i gave them the benefit of the doubt that the application might require a little more time but 5 five weeks going onto 6 six weeks ( there is no principal behind Canadian immigration processing times). At least have the courtesy to advise an applicant of the current situation, as we are paying applicants.
