temporary visa
I have invited a friend to visit our home in Nova Scotia Canada. She has applied along with an invitation letter from me to come for 2 weeks and has been declined.Could you please tell me what a person from Jamaica has to do to come to Canada for a visit? What does she have to prove? If we are willing to finance her vacation what does she have to have? I would appreciate an answer so we can help her to come for a visit to see our province.

Thank-you

stop wasting time
I really don't believe anyone who can help is reading these comments. The people at the Canadian high commission couldn't even care less how we feel. I am actually beginning to think they are a bunch of crazy people. the people of Jamaica need to contact the Immigration Minister and inform him of what is going on at the Commission in Jamaica, this cannot be right and something has to be done.
