My name is Joseph from Youth Vision Sound of Tanzania a youth-led social activism organization (NGO), aiming to empower youth social activism on governance, entrepreneurship and sports/talents. Based at Endabash village in Karatu District, Arusha northern Tanzania.
Previous project implemented
In the aid of Small Industries Organization (SIDO) and World Vision Tanzania both in Arusha we organized in 2014 an entrepreneurship seminar for 20 youth members based on Soap and Batik making.
Expecting projects implementations
We expecting to host an International Youth Day on 12 August 2015 a day of youth action/2015 for ending poverty, inequalities and climate change.
Strategies
1.Calling a stakeholders meeting to discus and come up with the best solutions on the youth challenges facing them as mentioned before similarly with the big challenge facing young people that is unemployment among the young people across the world.
2.Mobilizing youths and publics through youth sports competitions
3. Youth workshops around youth governance participation and entrepreneurship.
4.Formulation and registrations of Villages youth parliaments (Bunges) and Wards youth forums boards those will help young people share their experiences, creating opportunities and demanding the government and its institutions to be accountable, transparent and responsible in holding their duties in deliverance of public services.
Budgets
We need 100,000 USD to host the international youth day and youth action/2015 ending poverty, inequalities and climate change
