Being a SA citizen, but am married to an Austrian. We have been trying for 6years now for residence and an Id for my husband, and now have just been told that we have to submit EVERYTHING again for the 3rd time. Everytime Home affairs are telling us something else. Then we have to wait 1 yr before a tempory permit, and now that the time is over with one month left to go before it expires, they are telling us that they need all the documents AGAIN. What is the normal or right procedure, and how long does it normally takes if you are married to a SA Citizen? Is it true that people with more degrees and qualifications gets helped or sorted first?? Awaiting your answer in anticipation. Thanks, Ronel

Good day to you! I am from Johannesburg but in PE for business for 2 days and have won a trip to Austriaon the 17 March. If I get my passport couriered here for tomorrow could I arrange my visa here? Apparently in Johannesburg you can only apply on a Wednesday or Thursday and I am here until Friday. If I do this will it be able to be couriered to your Johannesburg/Pretoria for me to collect? Thank you for your assistance. Regards, Sam
